Fontbonne is a Catholic, All-Girl, College Preparatory High School and Early College serving families throughout Greater Boston and beyond. They wanted to update their marketing pieces that they used for prospective students to reflect their recent rebranding. The previous pieces were a "Z-fold" brochure and a small, 28-page booklet. The challenge was to condense the desired info down into a single piece to tell the story: "Who We Are".

 

My solution was to design a double-gatefold brochure. When folded, the brochure would fit into a standard envelope if they wanted to mail it, also keeping in mind the maximum sheet size that the printer could use when digitally producing the piece, to make it as cost-effective as possible. When fully opened, the brochure explained the school's core values. They had a wonderful collection of photos to choose from to visually showcase all that Fontbonne had to offer its students. I designed the layout to utilize a collage of photos to cover the wide range of experiences available to students.

In addition to the brochure, I also designed new postcards with two different calendars for an Open House event. The card for Admissions Events needed to inform prospective students of important upcoming dates. For simplicity I used a color key to highlight the dates on the 3-month calendar. The Community Events calendar was meant to list some of the fun events taking place during the last 3 months of the year. The photography used was meant to showcase diversity of the students and the beauty of the campus grounds.
